GALPERTI GROUP – ITALY

Officine Nicola Galperti was founded in 1921 in Ballano (North Italy).

During the early years of activity in the old works, Galperti produced agricultural implements and drop forged parts for railway infrastructure. With the advent of the chemical and petrochemical industries in the 1950′s production, it diversified with the introduction of forged flanges and the

original product lines were abandoned.

The increase in production gave rise to a need for more space, and to guarantee future development, Galperti transferred the operation to Derivo. The increase in manufacturing capacity and the use of ever more sophisticated materials requires constant technological development and thus emerged in the ongoing investment in the forging plants and machine shops. More production lines and new technologies were being introduced.

Today, Galperti owns four factories in Italy producing forgings, flanges, fittings, pipes, valves, bearings and specialty products catering to the requirements of Oil & Gas and Power Industry with operation in all regions, North and South America, all Europe, Middle East, China, Japan, Korea, South East Asia, Australia.

NEW MANUFACTURE at MALAYSIA

A full manufacturing facility by Nicola Galperti covering 6-1/2 acres of land located in Malaysia – Setia Business Park (Johor) is in progress. SBP is 10-15 minutes drive from Tuas check point. Building is scheduled to be completed by 1st Quarter 2012 and factory to be operational during 2nd half of the year. We are fully committed to supporting our clients in Malaysia and Asia region with this new investment. This will enable us to serve our customers with competitive pricing; good quality product in faster delivery lead-time. Engineers from Italy will be based here to ensure all aspects of products are equal to those made in Italy and also to provide full engineering service & support to clients in this region. We are excited of this strategic move by Galperti Group Italy.
